It started as rain at 3A and got heavy at times and totaled up 1" by 11A. Then it turned over to snow with heavy snow at times and continued to around 3P. As is typical for us, we had snow before it got below freezing. The temps started at 45 at midnight then dropped to freezing around 1:30P. The sun came out around 4P and started melting things. It was in the low 30s till the sun went down and it looks like it will be 27 by the time we hit midnight.
Total snowfall was 3-4" and that was after we had the 1" of rain. It was a nice wet sticky snow great for snow balls. As always it was pretty to watch come down and since it had been warm the streets were just wet and not a frozen mess.
