White Christmas 2012

It started raining about 1:30AM and continued through the morning into early afternoon. It was up to 1.70" when it changed over to snow around 1:30PM. The winds picked up and we had blowing snow for a couple of hours. The snow slacked up around 4:30PM with a good 4-5" on the ground but continued to blow around most of the night. We didn't go below freezing until about 3PM which meant the roads were mostly just wet but did start to freeze during the evening hours as they became less traveled.

Second snow fall of the month but the first measurable one really. Hasn't the last few years of White Christmas Days meant more snow fall during the winter???
